The game takes a lot of getting used to and the more you play it the easier it gets. If you are unfamiliar with the OlliOlli franchise I strongly suggest simply playing through all 25 Amateur levels first, without focusing on challenges. Because the game is 100% skill based and there are no random elements, your success (or failure) will come down to personal skill and lots of practice.Ĭlear all Amateur levels, Skatepark tutorials, and begin the Daily Grind The vast majority of the time you will spend playing will be completing the challenges and clearing all 50 levels on RAD. There are a total of 100 levels in the game and 250 challenges, stretched across three difficulties: 25 Amateur, 25 Pro, and 50 RAD. Although OlliOlli is relatively simple in concept it is deceptively challenging and has hidden depth. You will have to grind, trick, and manoeuvre your way through endless obstacles to reach your goal. The player controls a skateboarder that must traverse ever increasingly difficult stages, that become exponentially more complex by the games end. OlliOlli 2 is a skateboarding game that emphasizes fast reflexes, memorization, and mastery of the controls and tricks at your disposal. On a Trophy guide for the Playstation version I actually saw the author say it was an easy combo to pull off, so I'm really confused. I am using a controller, if that matters. Is this a bug? It seems like the game can't be made to not read the down input from the Noseslide as the beginning of whatever trick I pull out of it, and even though I'm doing the inputs for the 360 Hardflip it's almost like it cuts the input off because it doesn't read the switch from left to down. I did see someone do this challenge in a video, but that was on either the PS4 or Vita version of the game. Every time that I'm not told that I only did a Nollie, I end up doing an "Impossible", which is down-right-up-left. The problem is that even though I can consistently do a 360 Hardflip on the ground, I absolutely cannot do it after a Noseslide. A Noseslide is a simple down grind, but a 360 Hardflip is right-up-left-down. There is a challenge called "Hard-nosed" on Ritual Sacrifice (Pro Scene 2 on Curse of the Aztec) that requires you to "Pull a Noseslide to 360 Hardflip as part of a level-long combo".
